Empowering Communities for a Healthier Future:

Reducing Household Air Pollution and Hypertension in Nigeria.

About the Project

Household air pollution (HAP) caused by the use of solid fuels is a critical public health issue, resulting in 4.3 million premature deaths annually. In Nigeria, 90 million households cook with solid fuels. Our project is committed to driving the adoption of clean, high-efficiency cookstoves through community mobilization, effectively reducing HAP and preventing hypertension in peri-urban communities of Lagos.
